We will be gathering at Noon to share our Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor cars, history, motoring experiences, and lunch, at Trattoria Villagio, 7145 Main Street, Clifton, VA 20124 which serves authentic, delicious Italian fare, in a building known as The Buckley Store Building, constructed as a general store in 1905 and at the time it was the largest store between Alexandria and Front Royal, VA.
The historic town of Clifton, VA, is located in Fairfax County and is easily reached via Interstates 495 and 66. Whichever route you take, you will drive through pleasant and picturesque countryside surrounding the town. Most of the buildings in the town (1/4 square mile in size) are over 100 years old and have undergone restoration to period standards. You may want to arrive at noon to stroll through town and kick tires before lunch.
The Chesapeake Region is picking up the lunch tab for members and spousal members. Non-members will be on their own for lunch. As a reminder, everyone is on their own for any alcoholic bever- ages. All attending must let Sheldon know you’re coming by August 8th. Also let him know if you’re bring a RR/B for special parking that’s being provided, but all cars are welcomed.
