The Scottish Games

The Scottish Games. After skipping a year due to the Pandemic, the Virginia Scottish Games will be held this year on Labor Day Weekend, Saturday & Sunday, Sept. 4 & 5, 2021, at Great Meadows, Old Tavern (The Plains exit on Rt 66) VA, rain or shine.)

There will also be a British Car and Motorcycle Show, starting each day at 10 am with awards at 3 pm.

RROC. The Chesapeake Region Rolls Royce Owners' Club will be participating in the event on Saturday, September 4th.

If you plan to attend and participate in the car show, you must register yourself as instructed below. Click on the link below to find the registration form.

Registration will be at your own expense, as will any items purchased for lunch. You are welcome to bring a picnic and tailgate behind your car.

Registration. Your car show registration fee includes: admission for 2 adults to the Games; featuring Athletics, Piping & Drumming, Highland Dance, and Fiddling Competitions, Sheep Herding and Gaelic Demonstrations, Lots of Music, Parades, and access to the Midway of vendors, crafters & foods; a Dash Plaque; and eligibility for multiple fun prizes in addition to the “Chieftain’s” Prize, such as, Most Popular, Farthest Traveled, Oldest, Most Unique, awarded at 3pm each day.

  • 1 day $15 for 2 (regular admission $20 per person)

  • 2 days $25 for 2 (regular admission $30 per person)

  • Additional passengers may purchase regular tickets. Children under 5 free - under 12 $5 (driver and all passengers are required to have a wristband for entry)

  • Arrive no later than 10am

Go the the Virginia Scottish Games per this link, scroll down to the car show and click to get to the registration form. Note, the form to register for a car is different than if you are attending (just buying tickets) and not entering the car show.

NOTE: If you are NOT participating in the car show, follow the instructions to buy tickets and do not fill out the car show registration form. Discrete for sale signs permitted. No trailers permitted.
